This Radio Started its operations May 2006 in Dhaka. From 15th October 2006 it expanded coverage to Chittagong and entered commercial broadcasting . Radio Today is the first ever 24 hour radio station in Bangladesh. It can now be heard round the clock, round the country, i.e. Dhaka, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Khulna, Barisal , Mymensingh , Bogra , Sylhet , Kushtia and Comilla .
